Ready Or Not Spring is Coming!

by Mike Brown
This is a great time of the yea! The holidays are over, it is a new year, and it will soon be spring. With its cool mornings, the sounds of birds, and the plants and trees turning green, spring is delightful! Everywhere around you are the signs of rejuvenation, newness, and new beginning.
Another great part about spring is the opportunity it affords us to get outdoors. If you love gardening, it is an exciting time as you anticipate working the soil. There few things as relaxing as working in the garden. There is just something about the sound of the birds chirping, the warmth of the sun on your neck, and the feel of the rich dark soil between your fingers that talks to the soul.
This whole experience can be lessened if you reach for a tool that is worn out and not working effectively for you, or you go to get some plant food and realize that you ran out of it last fall. All of sudden you are off to the store and winding your way through the crowds of people, and the calm quiet experience is interrupted.
So, if you are newbie or even an old timer, the first place to begin planning for spring is to make a list of the tools and supplies you will need to tend to your yard or garden this coming year. Make a complete list, including gloves, hand tools, power tools, fertilizers, pesticides, and clothing. And, of course a copy of "Your Easy Organic Gardening Guide!"
Now is the time to purchase new items or replace old worn out ones. Before you run out to the nearest nursery or big box gardening store and spend last week's paycheck on the items you need for your garden, get online and visit one of the many discount gardening tool and supply stores. With a little searching you will find that you can pick up good quality gardening tools for discount prices. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get what you need.
Yes, spring is about here! This can be both exciting and a little nerve wracking, especially if you are a planner like me and realize that there is only a little time left to make your gardening plans. Remember, get that tool and supply list going!
Mike writes articles about organic gardening fertilizer and about organic gardening products.
